It was summer last year (2008), I and my brother was awarded by my MAMA and PAPA with a summer getaway vacation at Northern Ireland, UK. At first, after I knew that we are going to travel I was really ashamed, even though it wasn’t my first time to travel alone just with my younger broO, it was my first travel overseas and added the factor that we are passing through the 2 HUGE airports around the world, the HONGKONG AIRPORT and the LONDON HEATHROW AIRPORT really made our knees shook.LOL. On the day of our travel, ME AND MY YOUNGER BROO woke up early, prepared and dressed with our best outfit that we had that time. Excitedly we went to airport even if it was too early for us to and in fact, we are about 1 hour early for our flight to CEBU. After an hour, OMG!!! The LONG WAIT is OVER!!! It’s time to go. The travel to Cebu was fine, staying in Cebu for about 5 hours made me and my Broo sleepy, tired and somewhat jealous because we saw a family travelled together which we envy the most. When 8 o’clock in the evening came, via Cathay Pacific we travelled from Cebu to Hongkong. Again the travel was good plus the food being served was great, I can’t remember the name of it but it was really great and I think it was a Chinese food. Unfortunately, we stayed a little bit longer at Hongkong due to delayed flight. At that moment, I was amazed to the people around me, maybe they were also disappointed, they spent their time enjoying the foods served by the airline while sitting on the floor and unusually some are lying down on the floor and lesson learned at that moment... “ Chill lang jud dapat, bahalag nagkalisod na,”LOL. Instead of murmuring about the situation, me and my broo really took the time to have picture taking.hahaha. At last, about an hour or two, the plane came and we are ready to go. GOODBYE HONGKONG!

HELLO LONDON! Travel to London wasn’t that good compared to the last travel, the plane we took a ride was not that High-Tech because the built-in TV of it was not that impressive and most of all it doesn’t have games to play..aRgh! it wasn’t too comfortable to ride for a long time of travel and a little space that we had to move but still, the food was great(hahaha! Nawng jud og kaon!). After ten to eleven hours of travel, we arrived at LONDON. The airport was huge, and wooooooooooooow! The weather at London was too cold. Knowing that we are already late for our next flight, what my bro and I did was, we really ran and ran fast so that we can be able to reach our flight. Unfortunately, we missed the flight and luckily, “PINOY AND NAG ENTERTAIN SA AMO PAG CHECK-IN” and so, we don’t have to pay another hundred POUNDS to ride for the next flight. “SWERTEHA NAMU ATO UI, BUOTAN JUD KAAYO SIYA” that’s what all we can say. We are really thankful.

GOODBYE LONDON, HELLO BELFAST! HAHAHA. Shivered and chilled we arrived at Belfast, Northern Ireland. It was the first time that I saw my parents wearing their uniforms. I am soo amazed on what I have seen, “Gwapo og gwapa kayo sila sa ilang uniform.weee”
I and my broo stayed there for exactly a month. “Wala jud nako gikuha ako summer classes para ani, alangan, abroad na gud ni, laag pa jud.LOL”
